Following my Passion

Photography has always been and shall forever remain the bridge that links me with nature. Being my first blog I want to take you on a ‘Photo-cruise’ of a few  of my best-loved clicks.

Rummaging some of my old stocks, found this guy goggling at me, face to face. Strolling through my yard clicking pics is one thing that makes time fly for me 🙂 and this yellow fellow is one among my regular visitors..!! Photographed nearly a year back, the smile that I see on its face is what adds this pic to my ‘fav’ list.

I never get enough of clicking dragonflies. Their vibrant colors just let me want to keep that smart-shutter running for more pics.

Now, why is this one on my fav list? Well, I just loved the way it posed its blood-red tail in this greenish-white background for me 😉

One of the easiest or may be the best way to communicate with lord Vishnu is said to be through ‘Satyanarayana Pooja.’ It’s quite grand in its own way. What I like is the decoration and the play with flowers involved. This ritual has been performed three times at our home, last being a few weeks back. As expected, I was going around, clicking shots. Being an amateur at photography it did take me a lot of clicks before I got something this close to good..!!

My garden is full of surprises, in fact, it is nothing less than an explore site for me. Walking barefoot on my lawn, sharp-eyed, for something new is not just entertaining but can also turn up to be inspiring.

Gerbera Daisies are indeed picture-perfect and calls for some immediate photography, but what made me adore this one.. See how one white, head held high, is standing amidst the field of red..!!

It’s not just dragonflies, butterflies seize my attention too.

This photograph is new and the front-runner in my ‘butter-flutter’ flies list. This guys name unknown to me, made me name it ‘tiger’ … Just look at its wings..!!

This list goes on and on. For now, am stopping with five. Did you enjoy the cruise I put together? Hope I was able to carve a smile on your face (at least for some of you:) and may be instilled some interest into nature photography.

My quest for better photographs shall continue…from an amateur to a pro someday..!! 🙂
